Kits 4 students:

Peak Fabrics has designed the KITS 4 STUDENTS program to provide students with a selection of current fashion fabrics and patterns that are fun, easy to sew and meet the curriculum requirements. These kits can be individualized to each student.

How the program works:

Instructors:

• order fabric samples from Peak Fabrics
• help students select Jalie or Kwik Sew patterns or order one pattern for the class to share/duplicate
• determine size with students

Students:

• choose pattern and fabrics
• measure for size
• advise instructor of choices

Instructor:

• submits order to Peak Fabrics with:
  • first names only of students
  • pattern and fabrics selection
  • size
  • notions required (i.e. thread, patterns, elastic, drawstrings)

Peak Fabrics:

• cuts fabrics and adds notions as per sizing
• Individually packages and labels each student's kit
• invoices organization with specifics for each student
• will mail via Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service within one week of order date

Advantages of Program:

• specialized to meet student requirements
• eliminates error in purchasing
• cost effective
• provides supervised buying of appropriate fabrics & quantities
• increases student satisfaction with the use of quality fabrics
• tracing/sharing of patterns gives students a better understanding of the pattern prior to cutting out garment
• order completed and ready for delivery or mailing within one week of order date

Who are the Kits 4 Students designed for?

• Senior and Junior High School students
• Students in any level of sewing class
• Individual sewers

• Jalie or Kwik Sew pattern (if requested)
• fabrics selected
• notions (as requested)
